Filmed at the famous Madame JoJo’s club in Soho, London. This was our first experience of making a video with the wonderfully, half-crazy photographer-turned-director Marc Lebon (he’s the one walking into a lamp post with a cardboard box on his head!)

So nice of Gloria to give us such a lovely introduction! We’d just got back from filming the video for this song in Tuscany and weren’t sure how a ballad from a band who normally produced full bore funk/pop tunes would go down. After this performance Room In Your Heart literally took off and went Top 5 some weeks later.

We never did manage to track down the stylist who dressed us up like circus performers for this show. We were lucky to get TOTP many times but this time around it was particularly welcome as it was the first single off the second album and it subsequently went Top 10 which meant we could have at least another year of fun!
